for certain Sudoku addicts, enter the First Live North American Sudoku
Tournament – organized by the Exploratorium. There’s something for
everyone, from the youngest puzzle neophyte to the most wizened sage. All

In the Company of Wild Butterflies
An Exploratorium Film Program Presentation
With Filmmaker Bill Levinson in Person
McBean Theater
Saturday, June 10, 2pm
This film documents the lives of several species of Bay Area butterflies, as
you have never seen them before. Witness breathtaking close up photography
that reveals butterflies hatching from eggs, smelling with their feet, and
preparing for molting. Discover the many ways butterflies use their silk to
survive in hostile environments by building their own houses. The film also
teaches how to make your garden butterfly-friendly to increase the dwindling
amount of wild Bay Area butterflies. Filmmaker Bill Levinson will be
present for the screening. The film is free with admission to the
Exploratorium.
