Physics of Toys: Circuit Circus
Saturday, September 16, 2006
11am – 3pm
Physics of Toys is the Exploratorium’s interactive laboratory, a place to explore toys in a one-on-one workshop in which children and adults alike investigate the science of everyday things. Kids are invited to explore the properties of electricity and magnetism and make a motor and a string-light circuit that really lights up. To celebrate the publication of Exploratopia, the Exploratorium’s brand-new guide to exploring that brings the wonders of the Exploratorium home to budding scientists and explorers everywhere, this month the public is invited make a static sparker and stripped-down motor and take home what you make.
