“The lanky, long-haired comedian's genius resides in his sense of the absurd and a disdain for political correctness on either side of the right/left divide…—Pam Grady, SF Chronicle.”

Will Franken’s latest solo showGrandpa, It’s Not Fitting” will take audiences on a strange and satirical trip to Westminster Abbey for the Final Broadcast of the Christian Faith, to a prison cell for a heart-to-heart talk with everybody’s favorite political prisoner, Too-koo Moo-moo, and for a ride on a crazed aircraft piloted by 9-year-old Captain Griffin. Grandpa, It’s Not Fitting” might not fit the mainstream, but it just might fit you!

Born and raised in Missouri, Will Franken worked as an actor, English teacher, typist and convenience store clerk before heading to California in 2002 to try his hand at comedy. Five years later, he is celebrated as one of the most innovative performers to come out of San Francisco in recent years.

Armed with what The New York Times describes as a "highly developed sense of the absurd," he brings life’s inherent weirdness to the stage, poking fun at a broad range of cultural strongholds.
